Proofed and Ready to Go!

Over the past few weeks, I’ve been beavering away getting everything lined up for the book launch on 16 October. Proofs have been proofed, social media campaigns drawn up, book trailers finalised, and launch day media drafted.

It’s full steam ahead for my debut novel and the first book in The Mereland Chronicles series.

Proof copy of The Mereland Chronicles: The Crier by Paul J. Scribbans standing upright on a white bookshelf beside anthologies featuring his contributions with other authors.

As you may know, pre-orders are now live, and it’s a surreal feeling seeing it all come together after so many years of work. Holding the proof copy in my hand was emotional, a testament to what hard work and sheer determination can achieve. As mentioned in previous posts, this story and the adventures ahead have been simmering in my imagination for years. Getting it out of my head and onto paper became something I simply had to do.

Book Two

Once The Crier is launched, I’ll turn my focus to Book Two. If you’ve read my earlier blog post Now we Wait, you’ll know that Book Two was actually written before The Crier, but left in a rough draft. I’m excited to dust it off, start polishing, and weave in a few threads from the first book.

I can’t say too much just yet, but Book Two shifts gear significantly, something you’ll sense the moment you finish The Crier.

Pre-Orders

A huge thank you to everyone who’s already ordered. I’m genuinely overwhelmed by the interest in this story, and I know some of you have been waiting a long time for it. If you haven’t taken a look yet, now’s the perfect time to join in.
