In my novel, The Mereland Chronicles: The Crier, Hannah emerges as a figure cloaked in mystery. From the moment she washes ashore on Morikambe Bay (the Old English name for what is now Morecambe Bay), her origins are unknown, and her presence stirs both curiosity. Every word she utters and every glance she casts seem natural and unguarded, as though driven by the fragile curiosity of a survivor navigating unfamiliar lands. Is this vulnerability genuine, or is there a deeper, more calculated intent behind her actions?
Hannah presents herself as open and communicative, carefully concealing her true motives. Over time, Henry, captivated by her charm, begins to sense that her memory loss might not be the full truth. She is a young woman whose past is as murky as the waters from which she emerged.

As the narrative unfolds, more questions arise:
– Who is Hannah truly serving?
– Is she as vulnerable as first appears?
– What motivates drive her actions?
– Is she a pawn in a larger game, or the orchestrator of her own intricate plans?
The Mereland Chronicles: The Crier delves deep into the complexities of its characters, with Hannah standing as a testament to the idea that appearances can be deceiving and that every action may conceal a hidden motive.
